Oasis Water is a community-based organisation registered in Uganda, with its office at Kyengera, Masaka Road. This policy explains how we handle the personal information you give us through this website.

What we collect

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to field updates, we keep your email address so we can send them. Every update includes a way to unsubscribe.

Donations. Gifts are made by bank transfer, so your payment details go to your bank — never to this website. If you email us the details of your transfer so we can issue a receipt, we keep that record for our accounts.

Server logs. Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

What we don't do

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone. The only third parties involved in serving this site are our hosting provider and Google Fonts, which serves the site's typeface.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence and donation records for as long as we need them to run the organisation and meet Ugandan reporting requirements, and no longer. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to info@oasiswater.org and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
