From surviving the war to advocating for clean water and sanitation, my journey as a plumber in nothern Uganda.
The war between Uganda government and the lord's resistance army (LRA) in nothern Uganda was a devasting period that left countless lives shattered and communities torn apart. As a survivor of this brutal conflict, I not only managed to rebuild my life but also found a purpose in advocating for clean water and sanitation in my community.
Growing up in nothern Uganda in a place called lamwo district, palabek, kal. The war was a constant struggle for survival.
The LRA's reign of terror brought fear, displacement and unimaginable atrocities to our region. Witnessing the destruction of homes, loss of loved ones and displacement of entire communities left an indelible mark on my psyche.
However, amidst the chaos, I held onto hope as child and determined of my community.
